Ahhhhh... the weather here in San Jose, California is ridiculously nice. The current temperature is 52 degrees with a high of 70 later in the day. Now, let's check out the east coast. let's use Boston for an example. oh goodness. It's currently 10 degrees with a high of 18 later today.

Now let's look at rent:
STUDIO in downtown SAN JOSE all utilities paid: $500(Now mind you, this is probably just a friggin one room, small dive, but hey it's right downtown) and now BOSTON. Here's the cheapest studio on Craigslist. Small studio for $575. Full bath and kitchenette. Forest Ave at Pond St. (Natick)
Pretty comparable though I have no idea where Natick is?
What am I getting at? I have no idea. I just started off on a tangent and kept going. Sorry.

ASIAN MAN NEWS:
We've got the new re-release of MOVE BACK HOME from the QUEERS in stock. This is the 4th QUEERS album to come out following: LOVE SONGS FOR THE RETARDED, BEAT OFF, and MUNKI BRAIN. We've got 3 more to go and then a QUEERS tribute album. Yikes!! That's a lot of QUEERS for ya. It's strange to see these classic punk albums along with the Screeching Weasel releases stocked on the shelves of the Asian Man garage. I always stop for a second in disbelief. I mean it's really insane that they are on Asian Man. BLAH BLAH BLAH..

Mike Hale is in the studio finishing up his record. What else...? Got a call from Matt Skiba yesterday to see if I would be into putting out the next Alkaline Trio record on vinyl. Of course I told him. Hopefully that actually happens. In fact, look for a lot more vinyl to start being released again. I took a vinyl break, but will be back to pressing mucho vinyl. We'll start with the ANDREW JACKSON JIHAD release. If you haven't heard this band, you are missing out. Go to myspace.com/andrewjacksonjihad and listen to all the glory. Very plan-it-x ish in style.
