As soon as I think summer weather is here to stay, we have grey skies and the threat of rain. How is this possible in May? The reason I live in California and pay ridiculous prices for rent is for the weather. Tsk Tsk eh?

Oh well... Last month I moved to Santa Cruz, California. For those unfamiliar with this beach town, I can only describe it as heavenly. I live a short walk towards downtown and a short bike ride to the beach. Constantly on the quest to find bargain price entertainment and restaurants, I've scoured the city on my bike and have come up with some gems. If you happen to live in Santa Cruz and can hook me up with free stuff, I'll be more than happy to trade cd's for your services. Hook me up!!

It's been a blessing to leave San Jose where I've spent my entire life. The liberal politics of Santa Cruz dominate and a sense of comraderie is there. The constant woop/woop/bling/bling/meat market scene of San Jose got my stomach ill. I'll take the hippies in Santa Cruz over the meat heads of San Jose. And I hate hippies!! Well, hate is a strong word, but would rather not spend quality time with them.

Yeah yeah yeah...I'm sure part of enjoyment is because it's a new environment. In time I'll find inadequate ingredients to this city, but for now.....I'm LOVIN IT!!!
