Hello friends.. Happy Wednesday!
Crazy to think Asian Man has been around for over 16 years now. I still feel like we're a brand new label. The excitement of doing this daily is still the same as day one, so thank you for allowing me to do this. And of course thanks to my mom for letting me run this out of her garage since 1996. Gazing out the garage window and seeing pretty trees and blue sky always puts a smile on my face. yeah...it's one of those sappy kind of days.

WILD MOTH "Mourning Glow" 7" has arrived. Thoughtful and sludgy post-punk with a heavy dose of melodicism(is that a word?). Wild Moth truly embody the DIY aesthetic and have energized San Francisco's flourishing punk scene.

The 7" wax consists of two tracks and includes a download code with two bonus songs and of course the two tracks on wax. The band is playing a record release this Saturday in San Francisco opening for Joyce Manor at Bottom of the Hill. ASIAN MAN MEMBERSHIPS
I unleashed the news to the masses this week as we didn't sell all 250 memberships with the initial newsletter. I mean.....SHOOOTZZZ. We sold a ton so far, but for some reason I thought this thing was just gonna fly out the door and be sold out in a few hours. But I realize it's a friggin big chunk of money, so I definitely understand. But yes, they are still available and we'll keep it up until all 250 are sold.

And here's my salesman pitch.... "I guarantee everyone who gets this thing will end up getting so much friggin good stuff that they will lose their minds. You will end up with way more than you will be expecting, so when it's all said and done you'll be pleasantly surprised. And if you don't like something you can easily go to the local record store and trade it in for store credit. It's not like our stuff is over populating the planet(usually 500 or less made). You'll easily be able to trade for store credit. But of course.. if you can't afford it, you can't afford it. :)

You will receive the next TEN full lengths on 12" vinyl, or two 7"s (which equal one full length). So it could be six full lengths and eight 7"s or seven full lengths and six 7"s. Make sense?

We are coming up on Asian Man release #250 and for that we are going to do a limited edition 12" (limited to 250, hence catalog #250. haha) with a hand screened cover that is a compilation of a bunch of Asian Man bands covering songs by other Asian Man bands(credit to Jeff Rosenstock for this compilation idea). This record will only be available to subscription members.

If there is an exclusive color, then you get that color. Your orders will be the first to ship out and will always be before the street date. Throughout the course of the membership you will receive an additional 5 free 12"/ 7" of past Asian Man releases(Randomly chosen). We will also throw in a free exclusive t-shirt that will say something like I LOVE VINYL or something silly like that. You will also receive free stuff with each release like posters, stickers, patches.
