DEMOS!! DEMOS!! DEMOS!! I am completely submersed in demos. I have received approximately 600 demos in less than 3 weeks. I've listened to about 400 demos and plan to listen to another 50 demos today and hopefully the rest of the demos tomorrow. Notice how many times I said DEMOS!!! It's because I am covered with DEMOS. Have you ever seen 600 demos in one place? It's not a pretty sight.(I will take a picture and post it on the site one of these days) That's a lot of mail. Argghhh...... Oh.....By the way, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, just see the last newsletter and you'll figure it out. I thought the bands would be curious as to what is going on, so here's some info: Basically, I'm nowhere near completing this compilation. Stated before, I still have to finish listening to the all the bands. There are 2 piles that the demos go into:
1.Sorry, not cutting it.
2.Pretty good! I better listen to it again.
The second pile consists of about 80 bands right now. How am I going to narrow this down to around 25 bands? ARRRGGGH!! Another problem I am running into is TIME. Physical time is limited for me. I leave in a week for tour and there's no way I can complete this project by that time. I am thinking a good thing for me to do is to just compile the PRETTY GOOD pile and leave it for when I get back from tour in early November.(This will also give my ears a chance to rest) The downfall is that you(the bands) will have to wait a few months for this to be completed. I hope that is ok with everyone. Sorry about that, but I think it's the most fair thing to do at this point without rushing something that is an important project for me.

As for other stuff...HMMMM.....I AM CURRENTLY ENJOYING:being home, seeing my mom, going to tons of movies, seeing my best friend Bridgett, seeing Dan Potthast, seeing Miya, playing basketball, hearing the A's winning and winning, and eating tons of good veggie food that only the bay area can offer. But alas, I leave for tour next week.Plea for Peace/Take Action Tour will start in Worcester, Ma. on Friday September 13th. I am not performing on this years tour. I am only working. Doing a bunch of everything to help the tour go smoothly, etc.. So please feel free to say hello. I would like to start putting up all the asian manrecords releases on MP3.COM and was wondering if anyone was interested in doing this for us. You won't get paid, but you'll get a bunch of free cd's and t-shirts.
