Happy Wednesday!

Let's call today BOMB THE MUSIC INDUSTRY Wednesday. Why? Because I just talked to Jeff Rosenstock and he demanded we do so. Also.. it's because we are starting the vinyl pre-orders for "ALBUM MINUS BAND", "TO LEAVE OR DIE IN LI" and "GOODBYE COOL WORLD".

These will be arriving three weeks from today and at that time we will end the pre-order deal I'm about to disclose and start shipping these records. So here's the dealio:

You can pre-order all three of the new re-issues for $25. Or you can get all 5 BTMI albums on vinyl for $40. WOW!! WHAT A DEAL!! And of course, you can just order each record individually for $10.

FOR THE WIN and LAURA STEVENSON AND THE CANS new records will be in stores April 13th, but we will start shipping these this coming Monday(that's 5 days from now). The vinyl just came in for both of these and they look and sound beautiful. The VIC RUGGIERO/PHIL NERGES split book/CD will be arriving next week, but we're still figuring out how to assemble the cd with the book. But we'll have that up for sale later next week. Also, we are re-pressing the CHRIS WOLLARD/MIKE HALE split 7". Expect that to come soon. So yup... Lots of new stuff for you to waste your money on.

We have officially shipped out all the pre-orders for the FIVE IRON FRENZY DVD. In the history of Asian Man(1996-2010), this is the biggest mail order release we've ever done. Over 2,000 orders for a band that broke up 7 years ago. Simply put, it's mind blowing to me. I can't fathom how in the world they've been able to maintain this cult following. All I can say is "YAY".

What else? Same ol' same ol'. But things are quite busy . Gearing up for the warm weather will be nice. Lots of bands are touring and lots of fun will ensue. We'll definitely do another parking lot generator show before an Oakland A's game sometime this summer and hopefully more community based events. We'll see what we can muster up. Ok friends..
