anything...if you work in a restaurant, theater, any type of entertainment like
arcades, batting cages, amusement parks, blah blah....anything. Let's trade!!
Anything we have at Asian Man is up for trade. Actually, even if you live in a
different state/country get in touch as I tour often and perhaps will end up

Greetings dear friends. I’m guessing many of you are back to school? Eh?? My last year in college was 1991…before many of you were even born. What does that say about me? Old? Yeah, I guess. But I get to play records all day and eat candy and popcorn with shorts on and no shoes on. Do I win? Ummm…

We just got the new pressing for the LAWRENCE ARMS “COCKTAILS AND DREAMS” LP in stock. You can see a pic here: http://asianmanrecords.com/basket/cocktailsanddreams.html and also order from this link. Our friend Randy Stahl who runs SOLIDARITY RECORDS suggested these colors incorporating the Chicago Flag theme into the mix. I think it’s the best color scheme yet for a vinyl release. What do you think?

Most labels have a street date that a new record will be available in stores, but the chaos and anarchy of asian man usually just announces something is out when it shows up in the garage. But for those interested, we’ve set actual release dates for the following records in stores across the globe. Do people care about street dates anymore? I’m kind of curious? I guess for a big artist like Green Day or something, then people really freak out waiting for that date when they can finally get the record.
Anyways, here’s the release schedule for asian man:

If you have a favorite local record store, could you do me a favor and see if they have recent asian man titles. I’m talking mom and pop style stores or at least the AMOEBA’S or RASPUTINS type of chains for the west coast people. Not sure of the east coast equivalent?

But yeah, if they don’t have our stuff can you email me the name of the store and I will let our distributor know. Thanks very much.

What else? Hmmm.. The AJJ vinyl is supposed to show up on Monday, so perhaps we’ll start shipping the AJJ pre-orders a week early. That would be nice eh?? Well, I can’t think of anything else to say so I’ll end it here. Enjoy your weekend.
