  Formed way back in 1986 with a ever-changing cast of punkrock future all-stars, Chicago's Screeching Weasel was one of the seminal early pop punk bands. The songs were rough, but tuneful, Ramones-y and characterized by singer/guitarist Ben Weasel's smartass-suburbanite, often pop culture-oriented vocals. |
